Pakistani officials have claimed their forces shot down five Indian fighter jets on Wednesday morning amid heightened tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours. While India has not yet issued an official response, BBC Verify has authenticated multiple videos that appear to support parts of Pakistan’s claim.

One verified video shows what appears to be wreckage from a French-manufactured Rafale fighter jet — part of the Indian Air Force fleet — scattered in a field near Bathinda, in India’s Punjab state. In the clip, geolocated by BBC Verify, Indian troops are seen collecting debris from the crash site.
The BBC has claimed to have verified three separate videos from one Indian aircraft crash location, with confirmation on the Rafale with the tail number BS001.

Username don't check out.

Why wouldn't China want that conflict to escalate? How would India and Pakistan take each other out be bad for China?

The waves of refugees could even be a bigger problem for NATO than China.
In the chaos, there is a possibility that China could extend its holdings in Kashmir by taking back parts of Ladakh so that the path to the Tibetan Plateau is fully closed off to India.

Indeed. This is why officially China is trying to to needle the Jais too much. When asked about whether he knew about the J-10C kills a Chinese minister or defense spokesperson said he is not aware. Who are you kidding bro…
Pretty sure china can focus on many things at once. Not wise to disregard something and leave it as it is, this is not 1950 where china cannot afford to fight in the himalayas while engaging the US and UN in korea while also trying to take the KMT in taiwan. This neglect is how south tibet is lost currently, but now theres no excuses.

BTW isnt war good for economy? Especially if you are not involved in it? It's a win win situation imo
That really depends. It could be good if you are a thousand mile away and is selling to one or both sides. But if said conflict is right smack on your own border, then that might not be so good. Especially when both combatants are nuclear armed.

I would caution against this. India has backed itself into a corner with its domestic rhetoric, and if they believe themselves to be hemmed in on all sides, there is no telling what the lunatics in New Delhi will do.

Any truth to this or is it misinformation warfare?
I don't know about this specific claim however I do know that wionews is generally not a reputable nor a fully vetted reputable source.
If I were you I would take it with a grain of salt.

People are being way too nonchalant about destabilizing the region. One misstep and you have a nuclear armed rogue state or states as neighbors who will have a vendetta against you.

CPCs insistence on diplomacy and a rules based order advocacy is the smart way to go, along with providing strategic guidance to your allies, like it is doing currently.
