The Chinese will be very eager to put their J-35 against the F-35. Somehow I get the feeling that the U. S. Will be very reluctant to sell the F-35 to India after this event.
Well, think about the F-35 this way, due to many known issues, the plane already gave the US & other end users many troubles. If the Indian air force uses them and do service by themselves, they will go down by themselves without getting into a combat.

Gotta strike when the iron is hot. Considering pakistan would love to regain kashmir. It might be a good opportunity to regain at least part of that land
First, to fight a war of that scale, would the Pakistani be able to support it economically.
Second, would the Chinese agree to such a war. It is not in their interest to escalate this war beyond deterring further adventure by the Indian government.

Another question

"what is it like having this much power" but your neighbour and his whole family down street is a poser and doesnt self improve but always blames others.

And when he finally has a chance to show what he is made of, well....
