Thailand Cambodia conflict 2025

I mean does it really matter of what China or the US has to do in this conflict because despite this issue being started by France, Thailand and Cambodia have history of bloody conflicts between each other so it’s pretty much inevitable for Thais and Khmers to hate each other.
The BTR above looks intact, not sure for what reason that they abandon it.

Not completely true. There are many similar disputes in the world. One of the strategies to solve such disputes is NOT to solve it. The dispute area used to be a money-making site for both sides because there is an ancient temple, and most tourist access the temple from Thai side. But Thailand has tradition of diverting internal turmoil to outside conflict. And once the conflict began, it is hardly completely distinguished.

Fair Enough but don't the Thais and Khmers have a long bloody history because if I recalled they had several wars with each other long before IndoChina.

If you trace back to ancient time, The Khmer Empire had wars with almost all of its neighbors and lost much of its territory. The latest war (before this one) we fought was against Vietnam (during Khmer rouge regime). The current regime hasn't fought any war against foreign country until recently. I think it's one of the reasons that our government didn't maintain an air force because operating an air force is costly and we did not need to fight any country. This is a big mistake to me (at least now).

One thing I really don't understand, Cambodia has KS-1 air defense missile. How come it doesn't use the missile against Thai F-16? Miss or hit is one matter, but we simply never heard about the deployment of such system. Sometimes, I even think that does the system even exists in our arsenal.

Have you ever asked one question; who gives Thailand the gut to strike Cambodia even after Trump and Anwar step in? The mega project, Techo Canal, backed by China has halted indefinitely. The relationship between Cambodia and China is not as iron as it used to be.

Hun Sen's kids are all educated in the West.

Hun Manet - graduated from Westpoint, then went to NYU;

Hun Manith - Hofstra University

Hun Mani - also Hofstra University

Hun SEN should have at least sent a couple of his children to have an education in China. Instead the next generation of the Hun Sen kids are all bananas.
