Yeah I've heard great things about there too but a much cheaper alternative is La Banquise which offers more than dozen kinds of poutine!

Wow, I definitely keep that in mind whenever I travel to Montreal. Does the place gets crowded a lot? I love to visit these places, but the problem is when it gets too popular and becomes hard to find a seat or reservation to dine in them.

You're better to call to reserve some seat, it's generally very crowded.

I agree that La Banquise is a very good choice too, but it's a different style, La Banquise is more a poutine shop while Au Pied de Cochon is really about foie gras and duck

This is what I have every saturday and sunday morning :) we called it Mee Pok (with black vinegar... couldn't find it anywhere else and I hope to say it is pretty unique to my country - not sure though).

So the first photo should be from 牛车水?

No. The first photo is at Haji lane. It is quite a beautiful place. I got there early in the morning so none of the shop is open and I can stand in the middle of the road to shoot my photos :)

The second photo is the Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan) at Muscat Street. It was one of the few mosque that was open for non-Muslim like myself to go in and look around (as long as I don't enter the prayer hall). And I could also take shots there, as long as I don't use flash or disturb the people inside.

The last few shots was a new attraction in Singapore known as Garden by the Bay... very beautiful and futuristic looking, especially at night.

Excuse me, is 牛车水 still there? According to what I know, it was an old district (or whatever you call it) that exists since world war II. At that Singapore was lack of fresh water, so people used ox-cart to supply water and that was where the name came from. I watched a TV series movie years ago called "牛车水人家" describes a lot about that area.
