Hope it's true that they pick the most anti-CPC people to train as air force pilots.

Pilots tend to have to be the most loyal people as you are literally trusting them with $40-100m+ airplanes.

You don’t want there to be any risk that they might defect with such valuable assets or just refuse to fight when the time comes and make that asset combat ineffective.

It’s kinda funny that no matter how vehemently they might be anti-China, the Americans are still not going to trust a single one of them with a F35.

This morning (29th), the Taiwanese military conducted a "near-shore defense operation and joint coastal strike" exercise at Zuoying Beach.

A two-man team from the Taiwanese Marine Corps launched the Jinfeng-1 attack drone developed by the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology to strike a sea-based ball target

However, the drone crashed on the beach after only 6 seconds of flight, presumably because its wings did not fully deploy.

bruh....

Must’ve used Temu components. Time to ban Temu in Taiwan!

You guys see any potential lessons from the Iran war for the ROC, aside from not gathering all of its top brass under the same roof and turning the meeting into a sitting-duck-fest? Maybe seeing Iranian drones being able to to an extent penetrate the air defense across the region (IRGC even claims to have

with drones) could lead the ROC to focus more on UAVs? Or is the disbalance of air power between USA/Isreal vs Iran too big for any lessons being applicable for potential Taiwan straits conflict scenarios?
