My question is…. Is 105mm DM63 APFSDS the best round Taiwan has for their 105mm armed tanks? Or did they move into something better yet?

From what I can tell the round is capable of penetrating
150mm @ 2000m at 73.74° — 535mm LOS

Somehow the Guancha guys managed to get themselves one of the 20 Hsiung Feng III display models produced by NCSIST. They might legit have eyes across the strait.

Taiwanese Shi Lao sent them a copy.

TOW system operate in harsher conditions, with lesser care for maintenance and work as intended - such as Middle East region.

If it turns out that was attribute to sub-par maintenance regimen...

Some of them are just past expiration date.
