Xena for me was pretty entertaining. Kevin Sorbo as Hercules came at a time when Hollywood started to change how iconic figures real, mythical, or fictional looked in order to fit with the times. He didn't look anything like Hercules portrayed before him. Even the new movie that just came out... now Hercules is blonde.

There are so many science fiction shows these days where now there are just so many bad ones. Over the holidays they played the original V miniseries from the 80s on cable. I remember watching that as a kid and it's still just as good. What was wrong with the TV series remake a few years ago that was lost from the original was regular people made up the resistance who won, lost, and sacrificed. In the remake everyone was like Kevin Sorbo where the resistance was made up of an ideal image. Everyone in the resistance was beautiful and handsome and professional.

The 80s V miniseries is still good but when they tried to do a weekly tv series in the 80s was pretty bad.(Maybe that's why Chinese war dramas are only 28-45 episodes long.)

V the remake started alright but the second season dragged. Also it was on ABC a Disney subsidiary this is why I'm very concerned about Star Wars under Disney. The direction and subject matter of the V remake was not really suitable for a prime time network it should have been on like an AMC FX Syfy TNT or premium channels. It also should have gone more thriller/spy than the kind of all over the place thing they were doing.

Yeah, rumors early on were some of the sanctioned books were the basis of the new trilogy including some of the villains. The whole Clonetrooper/Stormtrooper thing reminded me of the situation from the Star Trek series where how were they going to explain the physical evolution of Klingons which was touched on in a DS9 episode suggesting something freaky happened.

Enterprise explained what happened to the Klingons in their final season. I won't say anymore if you haven't seen it yet. (NO SPOILERS)

I probably can say I've seen every episode of all of Star Trek. I just don't recall that one in Enterprise. It was my least favorite of all the series. All I remember is in DS9 when they went back in time to meet Kirk in the Trouble with Tribbles episode where they asked Worf what happened and he seemed too embarrassed to discuss it.

Yes I recall the TV series and it was horrible as well. The first miniseries was the best. The second was good as well except for the star child nonsense in the end.

Ridge or no ridge a dozen or so Klingon's still got their butts wupped by a single genetically engineered "human" named, Kahn in ST in Darkness. Still not happy about it.:p:(

Seriously. Klingons are supposed to be this amazing warrior race, but they just end up being the whipping boys of whatever new villain the show decides to cast.

Shows like Haven, Warehouse 13 and Falling Skies are what made me cut my cable they're not that good. Haven and Warhouse 13 didn't hook me. Falling Skies is like a bad sci-fi version of those Chinese war dramas.

Have you seen Arrow? it's actually pretty good... it's very loosely based on the Green Arrow comic book character.

Pixar is doing Star Wars movies of their own. I don't believe they're remaking the originals contrary of these pics.
