As I understand it, LA is getting two teams.
The RAM got first dibbs, but San Diego still has an option...if they do not take it up, the Raiders then have the option of moving down to LA.

Well, I have to say that today I was rooting for the Sheriff. I wanted to see him go out winning his 200th game, and on a note with his second super bowl victory.
He may have not had a sterling game...but he didn't have to. He just had to play well enough to let his defense be the difference in that game...and they were.
Cam was not used to the kind of defense he played against that had him on his backside so much. He was sacked seven times...hit and rushed many more, and the Denver defense hemmed him in pretty good.
I think Cam made the mistake of believing that he had to play better than Manning, when what he really had to do was, to play better than the Denver defense. And he didn't do it.
Oh well, he has a lot of talent and a lot of years left...and he needs to remember that Manning may have won two super bowls, but he also lost two. Hopefully, this loss will help mature him...and he needs to.

Well Jeff, if news reports are to be believed, because of the betting a lot of sports results are rigged.So if the underdogs won the game, there's always the possibility the other side threw it.
That's pretty much a bunch of hype.
I played High School football and had two brothers who played in College.
I watched this entire game and there was no "throwing the game" involved.
Cam Newton's short interview after the game made it clear.

I think the Panthers cockiness was their downfall. You saw it in their faces when the game started. They acted like the Super Bowl trophy was theirs when the regular season ended. They put themselves in a relaxed attitude that they couldn't recover from when reality slammed into them.

Well, they were favored to win. I think the odds were 3-to-1.
I am happy for Peyton Manning. He now has 2 rings, just like his little brother...
I am especially happy for Kubiak. He was fired by the Houston Texans. It was never his fault that Houston was/is doing badly. He was stuck with a back-up QB (at best) and a porous offensive line. I have no idea what the management was/is thinking. Nothing against JJ Watt, but having a defensive end as the star of the team is just not going to cut it. I am happy that Kubiak is now able to show the Texans what they have missed.
