Not all Chinese fighters won. One of them choked really bad when she was a -1000 betting favorite.

But overall a good event. Even had #2 ranked Yan xiaonan called out the champ Zhang Weili.

Also another Indian got knocked out. India talks about being tough guys but they couldn't even be in China's position at this event in their dreams.

Ding loses the third game on time, it stands now 1.5 - 1.5.
I'm surpised how little China cares about chess. Can barely find any news on there about it.

Anyway it's hard to say what will happen from here. Dunno if Ding's form is back or if he just got lucky from game one. His form hasn't been good this year so hoping he finds it in this match since this might be his last chance at glory.

I'm mean it's a western game that's not very engaging, interesting or useful from the modern perspective. There really isn't a good reason to care, the Chinese have Xiangqi and Go.
