It's more like whether we can make sure there is a budget for that because Meteor was offered, the deal exist yet suspended, despite apparent availability of funds that came from exchange rate, not sure how to explain this tho. French doesnt really have "QME" (Qualitative Military Edge) policy unlike US so, you can buy the best French can offer.

Meanwhile, regarding the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU):
6 Rafale of first batch will come first half of next year. With 3 on February-March and another 3 at April onward.
But Spokesman of the MoD says that the TNI-AU is seriously considering the J-10CE.

For the Navy (TNI-AL), they’re continuing the study for the acquisition of the ex Marina Militare Italiana aircraft carrier, the ITS Giuseppe Garibaldi. And the PT. PAL Shipyard is making very fast progress on the construction of the Type 31 Frigate (Frigat Merah Putih), it should be the biggest non-aircraft carrier combat ship in SEA.
