South China Sea Strategies for other nations (Not China)

I brought an official US Congress research report. If you choose to disregard that, it's your choice and you have the right to believe anything you wish. But, the truth in the Congressional report stands; US government's official position is Diaoyu Isles was managed by China before Japan. Flail around all you want, deny all you wish, but you can't change the fact all your complaints are merely excuses to not accept the truth: China owned and managed Diaoyu before Japan laid claim to it.

It's not a research document. Have you ever read it?
I have never heard of a research document that is only 10 pages.
Basically you are flat on the floor with no evidence and reaching for straws.

Stop arguing for argument stake. If you want to continue please provide some evidence. If you don't have any then just stop since it is pathetic.

You just can't stand the official position of the United States is Diaoyu belonged to China, before Japan annexed it through war. It's eating you up. But, you should remember you live in the real world and must see it as it is, not how you wish it is. What does it mean? It means China will get Diaoyu back, but it doesn't need to be impatient. China regularly demonstrates the US will not support Japan's sovereignty claim on Diaoyu. The reason is simple, US knows the island belongs to China, but it needs Japan to encircle China. Therefore it walks a fine line between Beijing and Tokyo, always weary of offending either side.

So, how does it end? It ends when US finally admits its China encirclement strategy is fantasy, because it's impossible to contain China in the Soviet Union sense, and anything less doesn't work. When that happens, you'll see a realignment of US interests towards peaceful accommodation of China and co-leadership of Asia. Under Sino-American collusion, Japan has little maneuvering space. That's how it ends.

Most western news networks are indeed crap, but still better than Communist China "news networks." The trick isn't to place easy labels, but to- as Soviet citizens said about Pravda- read between the lines and look for the missing. In other words, what the lame stream media don't say can be louder than what they do.

Nope, CCTV is far more respected world wide than Fox News. Just because it's "communism" doesn't mean it's inferior. If any media can't simply explain the intent of their report, than it's all rhetoric and rhetoric is all drama, and drama is all sizzle and no steak. As a result only gullible religious institution believes in such rhetoric.

You're so irrational, it's comical.

If there were ever delusions about how President Trump would be less confrontational than President Obama, facts will serve as splash of cold water. Tensions will likely get worse, and it wouldn't be surprising if we see fleets of US and China ships facing off in the SCS. 30,000 dead in Korea and 50,000 dead in Vietnam have taught these people nothing.

The president appoints a Secretary of the Navy to "conduct, all affairs of the Department of the Navy," which includes the Marine Corps. Trump, during his speech, said he wants to greatly increase the size of both the Navy and the Marines, and to generally "rebuild our military."

Additionally, Trump mentioned buying newer destroyers to bulk up the Navy's fleet of 272 ships, most likely with

Forbes, a military adviser to Trump during his campaign, serves as a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, and makes it plain on his website that he is "one of the nation’s most forceful advocates for a strong national defense."

In September, Forbes asserted before Congress that "more than rhetoric is required to counterbalance China’s growing military power and assertiveness," referring to China's artificial island building and militarization in the South China Sea, as well as China ignoring an international court ruling that said its claims in the region were illegal.

Forbes has advocated an increased US presence in the region, as well as modernizing and increasing the size of the Navy's fleet as China makes spectacular progress in updating its own navy.

We've heard this kind of talk before. Obama said he would pull the US out of Iraq and Afghanistan, and "reset" the relationship with Russia.

How did that work out?

Are you running out of "rational" things to say or are you just still in denial while trying to be comical? Fox or Feaux News are known to be very conservative in the good ole boys sense of ways and a rising China is threatening their beliefs in a major way that they can't handle.

The number for China is not correct. If 145 billion USD is correct then it should be 1.3% instead of 1.8%. If 1.8% is correct then it should be 196 billion USD instead of 145.

GDP(nominal) for China 2015 is 10866 billion USD (Worldbank)
