I don't know. I'm mostly just venting. I reenlisted because I'm the only one in my family with steady income since the pandemic started and I don't trust the government to hire me as a private citizen but now I'm stuck with this BS for another four years.

I'm just so, so tired of it all.

It's not easy, but that cliche "we have to do better to be better" applies here. Sometimes it seems like an excuse to accept the crap being thrown at us, but the reality is, no one wins a sh*t flinging fight, both sides just end up covered in it.

It's hard to turn down the money, especially if it's needed. I know this from my own experience, but fortunately my family was not counting on me for anything, so I could take some time to look for a job at the time.

I'm at least comforted by the fact that Canadian law enforcement took these incidents seriously and arrested the offender quickly.

That's more than we can say about those assaults happening in the US.
I can vouch for this, well, at least in Toronto where the racists are not being encourage or egged on by any politicians regardless of party affiliations. Ironically enough though that one of my acquaintances kids who are of Filipino background experienced racism by being told to go back to China by another minority a.k.a. black person.

Why did that Chinese man transplanted his entire family in the U.S. just so he can work with a low pay-labour intensive job is beyond my comprehension. Unless, his decision was for his kids to be less burdened from stiff academic competition back in China. It's maddening and sad at the same time. The Chines gov't ought to revise their media strategy in order for the rest of unsuspecting Chinese that are still awestruck about America and the west to be simply exposed with the realities that awaits them in the western shithole countries.

If anything I hope these anti-Asian crimes cause a mass exodus of Asian Americans - the Indians can stay and suck c*ck. However they're too brainwashed as sheeple and instead they'll do the Andrew Yang thing where they proclaim they must make even more efforts to prove how American they are to become accepted.

It's like telling your rapist that you are strong and powerful and egalitarian to convince him to stop raping you - sorry that's not how the world works
Andrew Yang is too young, too simple, sometimes naive about the realities of America. He's a true definition of a banana.

After Asians in the US have found this new attention from all these anti-Asian attacks where they're coming out to protest, I have to ask what is their goal? Is it to end racism or are they in it to guilt white people into liking them? Someone not Asian asked me how come I don't join protests. I said, "My goals probably don't align with the protestors. I'm for violence." All out violence in self-defense of course. If they attack you because of your race, you might as well try to hurt them by any means necessary even it means death or you're going to be dead.

I have a friend I've known since we were kids. His parents always hosted foreign exchange students into their home. They had one guy from Chile. His uncle was that infamous controversial Chilean arms dealer you would hear on the news every now and then during the 80s. The guy over-stayed his welcome because of the bills were accumulating having him stay there and some of the family started to treat him with disrespect. I never engaged with him but one day he started to insult me for no reason except maybe he was taking it out on me because of the open disrespect his host family was giving him. He said some racist crap to me. Because I knew of the Latin machismo, I went after his American girlfriend he had while he was here and said she was pretty damn ugly. You can see the blood boiling and his head looked like it was about to explode. I was slouching on a couch and he came over and literally hovered over me demanding I take that back. Being over me he had the clear advantage but I just kicked him with one foot in his chest and he literally flew into the air at least six feet across the room. That was one foot. If I used both my feet and at full power, I could've easily launched him through the window that was behind him. Why do I bring this up? Some of the videos of attacks on Asians I've seen have them in similar positions, on the ground or on a subway seat while being pummeled. It would be easy to kick someone's knee and make it bend into a direction it's not suppose to. But we know some Asians are taught to not do anything is the best course of action and that's why these attackers do it because they know there are little to no repercussions and they will most likely brag about it to their friends and encourage them to do it. Now when they're in a position where they have to think about if they might get seriously injured or die, that's when these people start thinking twice.

Think about this... Asians are being attacked because they're being see as foreigners and don't belong in the US. Why is that? Because the US government has push that narrative and they didn't care about the consequences. The US's attack on China today is because they're afraid of a future where they're not in control... same thing going on with these racists attacking. So do you think any legislation is going stop these attacks? They're superficial because ultimately someone who is not Asian gets to decide if the crime is serious enough to get any attention. You're only chance at justice is when the crime is happening. No politics... no accusation of misidentification... Only a racist is going to claim the victim is the criminal. That's what will happen if the criminal gets away and is later arrested. And think about this... if any sort of robbery occurs like stealing your wallet or iPhone while they're racially attacking you, it won't be considered a hate crime. It's theft. And now a leftist California legislator wants any assault and battery that doesn't result in a death to be legally considered a misdemeanor and not a more serious felony. Which means if someone attacks you out of racism in the state of California, all the criminal has to do is steal something from you and it won't be considered a serious offense and definitely not a hate crime. But remember, it works both ways. That's why when attacked, you better get all your licks in and aim for permanent severe damage. Like I've pointed out before, some of these attacks are happening in Chinatown in the middle of the busiest part of the day. These criminals are so brazen they know nothing will happened to them because Asians have a reputation of doing nothing. Vigilante justice time. I've mention before how you can tell someone can be seen as universally evil by all. It's because evil can have two contradictory thoughts at the same time. They think you're plotting to take over the world to justify attacking you yet they only attack you because they think Asians are too much of a weakling and a pushover and don't fear the consequences. Carry an exacto or cardboard cutter knife for easy cutting of flesh. Carry a pen so they permanently lose an eye or even better... eyes. If you're on the ground, start kicking those feet to break some knees. I see some of those videos and some Asians end up curled in a ball in the fetal position on the ground. Guess what? You're half-way there to breaking some legs because they're going to be close enough while kicking or pummeling you for you to push-kick your feet into someone's legs and they won't be attacking you after that. They're going to be on the ground waling in pain crying for mommy when they see their splintering bones coming out of their legs. You have nothing lose because they're going to kill you if you don't. Think about that. The only thing worse than attacking elderly people is attacking your kids. When are we going to see grown racist men start kicking your five year olds around like a soccer ball? You think these people have any morals and ethics but somehow they draw the line on kids...? I bet attacks on Asians have only increased since all this attention because of out of spite. That's how much regard they have for you.

I come across Asians who naively think racists are just mistaken. If the racists just got to know Asians, they would like them. They can't believe someone can just hate them for being different because that means there's no chance for ever being liked by them. That's why I'm also suspicious of the motives of these protestors who hold signs that say, "I'm not a virus!" Do they think people are actually mistaken thinking Asians are actually a virus and not human for them to inform them of that? That's the romantic drama queen nonsense you see in Hong Kong. And those Hong Kongers just want see Westerners care about them. The jails are full. You think some of these racists are actually going to go to jail? We'll have to see what the punishment is. Right now it's just superficial to show politicians are doing something because what I've heard as part of of legislation is more about awareness and that's again assuming these attacking don't actually know what they're doing.
I am of the same mind and thinking as you pointed out here passionately and eloquently. I just don't understand nor get why are some Asians in the west like the U.S. or Canada (where I live for over a decade) keeps teaching their kids or families not to respond fire with a flame thrower to ensure the would be f..kers are going to have doubts attacking our kind down the road. It is the pu..fication of Asians in the west that has contributed to this current racist attacks and none of the academic achievements, being a good citizen lessened the suspicion or being treated as the perpetual foreigner in those countries. Yet the insanity of doing the same crap by these same village idiots/elders have yet to be modified and worst, the woke morons perpetuated by these self-hating, white worshipping Libs are trying to cut down the Asian manhood or whatever's left of it.

I personally experienced/witnessed racism directed at Chinese-Canadians/immigrants/int'l students inside a public bus (TTC) where I was also one of the passengers. A white dude for whatever reason started yelling crap by expressing his disgusts to anything that's Chinese; the trigger point for that man was the incessant yapping of Chinese passengers in Chinese. The moment I heard it, I thought someone inside the bus would say something against the flailing white guy since the bus was literally full of Asians most of which were Chinese. But none spoke up, based on what I observed at that time, almost all of the guys began to lower their heads to avoid confrontation or to avoid being confronted. Obviously, their silence emboldened the idiot, so he upped the ante, by expressing that he wishes for all the Chinese to go back to China and die, and if they are unwilling to go back, he'll hurt them.

My ears were getting hot and burning, raging with anger, disappointment that not one Chinese fella dared to speak up for themselves and their people. As soon as the moron said what he said, I got up from my seat, slammed the gym bag on the floor, directly went up to him and demanded to say what he just said so that I can show him that Asians/Chinese are wimps or scared of a fight. In a not so polite way of expressing my disgust (I said far worse and my words were laced with obscene profanity) I told him that if he were to repeat what he said that I was going to slam his dumb f..ng face against the exit door and maybe then he'll learn some Chinese. The dude didn't do anything (am not physically imposing person, I work out, I dabble in some forms of self defense) even though he was bigger than me. The man decided to exit the bus. But I expressed my bigger disgust to the rest of the people in the bus by saying that this sh..t will keep happening and become worse in the future when there's an actual tension between China and the west. There's no white savior who's going to save your assess if you're unwilling to defend and save yourselves.

For the record am not full Chinese unfortunately, am a mix breed of South East Asian stock. I didn't write my personal experience to brag about something inconsequential or was I trying to boast about that unfortunate incident.
