The new display for this tank is pretty cool:One of the most interesting parts of the conflict: The Chinese captured a Soviet T-62 (numbered 545), back then a secret state-of-the-art tank, in its combat debut. Today this would probably be the equivalent of a third world nation shooting down and capturing a superpower’s 6th gen fighter in its first sortie.

Decades ago when I visited Beijing the tank was displayed outside, although undercover. I've seen some joking refer to it as "中苏友谊见证车" or "tank of Sino-Soviet friendship".
Undercover as in, there was a roof over the tank but it's not indoor.Undercover? What, you were a Russian spy? /j
The Russians were using "cope cages" even in 1969?!Undercover as in, there was a roof over the tank but it's not indoor.
