The top image is closer to a side view in terms of horizontal orientation. Note the two rear tires appear much closer together. The bottom image is much closer to a tilted horizontal view. Note the rear two tires appear much further apart. That's why the cockpit canopy in the bottom image looks smaller. It's purely your viewing angle.

I think the latest images fit quite nicely to the three better side views we already have





By the way, I just noticed, the 2nd prototype/aircraft lacks that characteristic triangle on the intake!

I just realized that J-XDS is probably a medium fighter by sixth gen standards.

So really no bump on the intakes. DSI intakes are already pretty stealthy so I imagine they choose this kind of intake for performance, maybe we can look forward to even higher supersonic cruise speed?

We have a better image to judge the intake. You can see a gentle curve right in front of the entrancce of the inlet.

Another thing from this image is the bundary layer sucking mesh right behind the "bump" at the entrance.




Also according to paper in post #2049, the whole forward fuselage must be designed together with the intake as a integral part, meaning the fuselage is the bump except it is much subtle because it is much larger.

According to the comments on some youtube video, all traces of this image has been removed in China, which supports its authenticity. Everything looks about right except for the protrusion of the intakes, not sure what's happening there

What's the point of deleting there's pictures for Chinese internet when it's already all over the world? That's silly.

Either china has pretty piss poor opsec or they did this on purpose?

To remind other people that try to do this, that they WILL be punished, and to make it serious to the chinese internet about doing stuff like this. Because allowing it to stay would be telling people subtlety that it is tolerated to post secrets online. Yet probably soon the block will come off.

To delete or sensor illegal filmed content is quite legitimate, it is a paper pusher thing.
