Shenyang FC-31 / J-31 Fighter Demonstrator

Open air model or original 31001?
It has 31001 written on it and same black paint job and pitot tube but it has the 31002 tail. Pretty sure it's the same demonstrator in the previous pages with the fake looking landing gears.
They pretty much confirmed that it was a static test model in the video. This does beg the question — do they normally employ sawtooth panel designs for static test models?
