sorry for asking a stupid question.....Firing sequence of the new 122mm truck-mounted SPH.
I see ear mufflers, but not eye goggles for the gunners, why is that ?
are goggles not necessary?
From my non-PLA gunner experience, eye protection was not standard issue until 2007 (and that was army wide).
Obviously being near large gun means large bang, so earmuffs are 100% needed. For eye protection, I never felt like stuff getting into my eyes was a big deal (I only ever worked with 105mm guns and 82mm mortars, though).
Hello, simple question here. In many of the Mengshi pictures I've seen, the large HMG on top does not come with shields. How are soldiers supposed to safely shoot? And does anyone know the specs of the HMG? Thanks.
