PS. why would anyone use a shotgun from a vehicle? The only sniper rifle resembling an AK is the M76 and I don't remember them ever having a folding stock.

Yep, a BVP M-80.
BTW, that's no mag, but a spent casing deflector/chute. Note its position relative to the magazine release catch and the trigger guard.
The wheeled APC is an Algerian-made M-5.
