Yes, she has AAA positions visible

Nope, look at the previous picture. No guns.

scratch whatever that i said below, could this be a canadian-built mull class later commissioned into the royal navy?

i mean i'm 99.99% sure. are you sure it's not one of the old Fort class stores ships like Fort Langley here?

Nope.

I can tell you that this ship has seen service with two other nations before ending up with the original nation that built the ship. This ship and her sister ship were commissioned post-war with the original building nation.

that was a long awkward silence ... i can even hear the crickets in the background...

anyway, pointblank, man, i am gonna throw 2 more wild guesses out there: canadian head class or point class, but none of them served with 3 navies as far as i know.

if these still aren't it, i'll give up.

Nope!

I'm going to give it until later today before I reveal the answer, to see if anyone could identify the ship.

Fine. I will give out the answer: she's the HMCS Cape Breton, a member of the Cape-class escort maintenance ship built in Vancouver, Canada. Originally named HMS Flamborough Head, it was originally a modified Fort class cargo ship for service with the British Pacific Fleet, and saw service with the RN after World War II due to delays caused by a manpower shortage before being turned over to the Royal Canadian Navy. HMCS Cape Breton served well past her paid off date, and was used as a towed mobile support facility and accommodation vessel at Esquimalt before being disposed of by being turned into an artificial reef.

Her sister ship was HMCS Cape Scott, who in previous lives served as HMS Beachy Head (in RN service) and Vulkaan (with the Dutch).

Well, that was a utter and complete disaster. Let's try something a lot more easier:
