Bell is trying to bank on a modified compound helicopter in hopes of getting savings by cost cutting. They couldn’t enter a tiltrotor as the size requirements are tight.

Sikorsky has revealed there Raider X for FARA. As expected it is Raider based but they sent it to the Gym and Bulked it up.
Power plant would be a GE901
20% increase in weight 5 foot wider rotor.
It’s still side by side seating which Sikorsky feels can be an advantage as it gives them a
Larger weapons bay behind the cockpit including Air Launched Effects weapons. this means we know have three concepts for the job.
