Nice looking Shark,

This is no doubt the best looking Flanker, and the T-50 is the best looking of all the 5th gen wannabees or actual 5th gen, those good looks may work against L/O. It is aerodynamically a very straight forward aircraft. No doubt it does fly as well as it looks? and as Kwai has stated those white wheels will def show any grease leaks or brake fluid issues.

Arrived at Zhukovsky today ...

Nice to see 055 back among the living. As I stated earlier, that it took a year and a half is not a surprise. It is a huge undertaking to restore to flight status any aircraft that has had a fire. No doubt they have most of the "kinks" worked out of her, and will now be racking up flight test hours once again.

I like the paint, and I would happily have this one delivered to my house, LOL. I would suggest for the purpose of our little discussions that we go back to call her )055, or if some posters feel so inclined 055R.

Zhukovsky is the flight test center correct??

055 will be easy to spot, and I expect they will be racking up lots of hours with her, if indeed China does purchase the Su-35, this will inject some much needed cash back into T-50 flight test and production. All of this activity will also re-attach India's interest as well, so this is a great day for the T-50, and I for one am anxiously awaiting 6-2s first public appearances? I don't think there will be much, if any differences externally?
