What're the reasons for the slant? The 2D vector nozzle on the F-22 do not have such slants.

With slanting, the 2d vectoring dual engines could trick 3d vectoring moves, saving weight and complexity. You gain yaw control.

F-22 can only roll and pitch with that setup, yaw could be possible only while using thrust difference between engine.
