I'm going to agree with B787 here gents. Whether they currently have hardware or not I really don't know, but they are intended to be side mounted short range AAM bays..

now, would we like to see them open, better yet weapons testing??? sure, do I have concerns about its shaping and question how L/O it really is?? yes
Sukhoi designs and produces the SU-27 and all its offspring, have sprung from that wellspring of very sound aerodynamic design,,, remember, "A Flanker, is a Flanker, is a Flanker!"
and that goes double for the SU-57!

I can't read russian but that doesn't seem official at all. The link at the bottom isn't anyway. So any more real evidence? I'm not saying it's not the case, just want evidence. So only person that can be wrong is actually you. Or is that hard to understand? Asking if I'm more correct than "the russians" that is so pathetic and uncalled for. I haven't denied it. Just expressed my doubts and wish for some official confirmation. If there aren't any, we can speculate politely.
If you want to speculate, no current sraam in the russian arsenal can fit in that space. That's a physical fact. If they have new ones in development, that'll work. But as things stand, there's zero evidence of it happening and doesn't seem plausible either given the reasons I described. They may be weak but those are my thoughts. All you're doing is repeating the same old fanboy message of the side bays. Maybe it does have them or maybe not. Still remains to be proven and seen.

if you can not read Russian your credibility is 0, Russian sources base that information in what has being said by the Russian specialists and media

relax expert, first take a few Russian lessons, join a few Russian websites and watch a few channels like Russia 24 and star tv, no need to argue with an expert who does not read Russian
If there isn't any official confimation from Sukhoi and nobody else. Then there could really be a side bay. We can discuss it and speculate within reason. I'm not saying there isn't but you're saying trust me there is, you just won't understand. Can you see how that's useless to me? I just want to know something simple that forum members might have the answers to. That's all.
Okay russian expert. You're such a great and useful contributor to this forum. I have read russian sites. It's all fanboys who are ridiculously racist and never use fact and never back things up wrt this side bay issue. Prove me wrong. I haven't found concrete answers in two years of reading those stupid posts. Again is it hard to get something concrete or a statement saying nothing solid but doesn't prove otherwise. Let's leave that until real evidence come out.
