Can someone provide a definitive answer where the internal weapon bay is? Some suggest they are under the belly and the seams are the proof, however, do you know for sure or do you have photos the internal weapon bay is open?

Don't know if you are trolling but the Su-57 definitely has an internal weapons bay. It is a necessary requirement for a stealth fighter. Even Boeing's silent eagle has a few.

Agreed, a very strange - maybe to say "stupid" question - even if he's right, so far there are no images showing that bird with open bays.

You don' t see seems
I think 12 hardpoints ( 6 × internal, 6 × external) 10 t max weapond load i think internaly 2.2 t : 4x 500 kg + the 2 IR AAMs.

Internaly KAB-500, do 500 kg about

Exist also KAB-1500, only for external HP Su-34 can host 3.

In fact tandem configuration with 2 more small 1/2 weapons coz the tunnel btw engines is not important would prevent put AAMs AA-12 ofc in staggered, shifted, i think

A reliable blog a Czech specialist for Sukhoi, Mig only things mention only 4 HPs under wings Su-57 have 6 and the 2 int weapons bay do about 4.4 m x 0.9 m so weapons a bit less big inside

Main problem with this tandem configuration i don t think half weapons bay can host more than 1 AAM missile to put a 2nd in offset, F-22 with more small AIM-120C " compressed " host 3 in 2 weapons bay initialy 2 AIM-120A/B a significant improvement for weapons load + 1/3 of AAMs considering AAMs hit targets in about 50-60% of cases in general so 2 in more is important.

And LM have planned with F-35 block 4 an adaptor on the main HP allow 3 AIM-120 by weap bays fighter more small no room for samll ext int weapons normal.

To consider also in general US missiles are more compact than Russian or Chinese.

I add
Su-24 and normaly 34 have for FTs

FTs 3000 l types and 2000 l PTB-3000 and 2000 possible 2000 l for mass or supersonic FT.

It is logic, fortunately for we ... Russia is not China ! but a fighter " special " with some secrets.

If the pics/views means exact things in this case different no partition for each weapons bay so can host 3 AA-12 especialy the last AA-12/R-77-1 more compact for wings as AIM-120C/D 42 cm max vs before 53 cm.

BTW i don't see a J-20 hosting 6 PL-12 do 67 cm for wings...

I think it is safe to assume that the two main bays can hold at least two missiles each. The real question is whether the Su-57 has side bays as well. If so, then the claim is 6 internal hard points is confirmed.

Deino's right, we haven't seen the tandem weapons bays open, in the F-22 flight demo they always pop the weapons bay doors and give people a look. The weapon's bays on the T-50 are quite shallow compared to the F-22, F-35, J-20, and FC-31,,, limiting internal weapons carriage.

Hence all the kool pictures of it carrying large external loads, LOL!

These are all CGs. None of them shows the real bay and even more by all accounts, the main bay has only space for two R-77 each.

Just look at the first image showing the S-37 equipped with the T-50's bay.
