4th Kantemirovskaya tank division based to Naro-Fominsk close Moscow, depends 20th Army is one of the two Russian Division all others main combat units are Brigade. Use T-80, BMP-2/3, 2S19, BM-21, SA-15 Thor, Tugunska etc..
Other Division is the 2nd Mech Div based to Kalininets depends also 20th Army.
This Divisions do 12000 h with 4 Rgts, 3 Armored, 1 Mech for 4th Kantemirovskaya tank division otherwise ofc for 2nd Mech Div in more a SP Art Rgt, AA, Engineer units etc...
Each Rgts have 3 bat with 31 Tank or 41 AIFV. A Art bat get 18 systems.
Then this units as all others Brigades were divisions before the reform of 2009 and after in 2013 these two units have returned divisions, by merging brigades existing.
Others : a Armored brigade do 3000 h, 94 Tanks, 43 AIFV, 18 SP Guns... a Mech/Motorised 4500 h more infantry ofc then more troops, 31 tanks, 123 after idem.
Russians batalions are small between 200/500 troops. 18/40 combat vehicles.
200th Motor Rifle Brigade is rattached directly to Western Mil. District based to Petchenga close Murmansk. Use T-80, MTLB old but much appreciated by Russians for snowys or marshy area, 2S3/2S19, BM-21...
