A squad of marines take part in drills and training exercises to practice shooting underwater. They are kitted out in state-of-the-art hydrosuits and masks as they train for a secretive form of combat - known as underwater sabotage.The divers spent three hours in the murky water and can be seen kneeling down as they fire their special underwater submachine guns. Tula Arms plant APS rifle. Fires 5.45x39mm Rounds from a 26 round magazine. APS has a folding stock and is a product of the 1970's the rounds fired are long needle like bullets with conventional 5.45x39mm round casing water sealed. The Rounds could be used in above water roles but only as a absolute last ditch. the Russians have experimented with replacement options in the form ASM-DT and the more modern ADS Duel medium both improved on the APS with the hope of creating a carbine that could be rapidly converted from underwater rounds to convention rounds.
