Anyone know where in real time this Russian convoy is? As CNN reported I have a feeling it's a Trojan horse

Btw it's been reported S500 SAM units will stand up in 2016 and will the Pak Fa fighter

S300 is a formidable system and poses a huge threat for fighters so forgetting the more advanced S400 now we have S500 just imagine how power a system it must be

There's also talk of a even more powerful S600 SAM system!!!

Ok I have a question... Does the United States have a version of the s-400 of their own? I always hear of these sams systems built for Russia but never of a equivalent version in America? I think I saw somewhere that back in the Cold war America chose to spend money on other military projects because there was too much land to defend and SAMs where easily out maneuvered or easily tricked by aircraft?

US doctrine since WW2 was basically to ensure air supremacy/superiority with own fighter aircraft . That is why US invested heavily in USAF and considerably less in US Army SAMs . Therefore, it is safe to say that US always lagged behind USSR/Russia in this regard .

One exception to that rule are BMD SAMs and naval anti-cruise missile SAMs . These are specialized weapons with primary mission of destroying missiles, not aircraft. As such, they have somewhat different requirements then usual anti-aircraft SAMs . This is especially true for BMD weapons - for example MIM-104F & PAC-3 combination is not very effective against aircraft .

Yes the Americans do have something comparable to the Russian SAMs ......... it's called THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Air Defense).

Developed in the 1990s, it didn't meet much success during its testing phase. However during the end of the decade (1990s) it's performance issues were resolved.

THAAD is primarily an Anti-Ballistic Missile System, designed to intercept missiles like the Scud and other tactical ballistic missiles, including BRBMs.

Comments: it might be that this submarine joins the fleet of Black Sea via inland waterways to win Sebastopol. The third unit of the project, the B-262 Stariy Oskol, should be put in the water on 28 of the same month. It may be recalled that at present, the Black Sea Fleet has no submarine.
No sub's because Alrosa/Kilo is in maintenance and the Tango soon scrapped if it is not already.

The Russian Caspian flotilla is unchallenged on those waters in terms of capability or numbers.

These are very nice and powerful corvettes.
