Kirov Class and Nakhimov modernisation udapted great !
Normaly for SAMs 96 x S-300FM no S-400
48N6M range 150 km

Another system that is being replaced is the S-300F. As mentioned earlier, Kirov-class ships have either the S-300F system or a combination of S-300F and S-300FM. As part of the modernization, the ships are wholly on the S-300FM system with no less than 96 available 48N6M missiles. On the other hand, nothing is said about the fate of the 3R41 radar which will become redundant with the disappearance of the S-300F system..

More interesting
Earlier, the 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment received seven Su-30SM fighters. The first two Su-30SM fighters (red board numbers "71" and "72", serial numbers 10МК5 1412 and 10МК5 1413) arrived in Halino on June 3, 2017, the next two (red side numbers "73" and "74", serial numbers 10MK5 1414 and 10MK5 1415) arrived on July 27, and the next two (red board numbers "75" and "76", serial numbers 10МК5 1416 and 10МК5 1417) arrived on August 28. On October 3, a fighter with a number "77 red" (serial number 10МК5 1501) arrived in Halino.

Together with the fighter with the number "77 red", it was planned to drive to Khalino and the Su-30SM aircraft with the onboard number "78 red" (serial number 10МК5 1502), but it is reported that this board is still in Irkutsk, because of the identified technical problems
In total, since 2012, 116 Su-30SM aircraft have been contracted for the Ministry of Defense of

Russia, of which 88 are intended for the Russian Air Force (VCS), and another 28 for the Russian Navy Aviation. To date, the Russian Air Force under the signed contracts thus obtained 76 Su-30SM fighters (of which 10 in 2016 and 10 new in Khalino in 2017 - including the "delayed" board "78 red"), and the Naval Aviation - 20 (seven of them in 2016 and five new ones in Chernyakhovsk in 2017).

  • The Russian Navy, by 2025, plans to obtain a 600-ton (93m long, 71m wingspan) wing-in-ground aircraft (ekranoplan) for search and rescue operations in the Arctic and logistic support of (Arctic) garrisons ... substitute landing gear wheels with air cushions
That is an interesting technical development after more than half a century R&D.

Sad in a way, but sensible and indeed inevitable. From a simple cost benefit perspective the Russian Navy has better things to spend it's money on. To keep this aging vessel at sea for what amounts to little more than national ego cannot be justified.

It would certainly be interesting to see the 'spawn of the Caspian sea monster' being brought to life, but it strikes me that a 600 ton WIG craft is just way too excessive for search and rescue? I know the former soviet navy had a lot of experience and development time with WiG craft or ekranoplans , but it is as if the modern Russinn armed forces are catching old Soviet bug of needing to build the biggest or the heaviest or the fastest; rather than actually focussing on what they need. Don't get me wrong, I think a WiG craft would be immensely practical for Arctic use - especially if it can touch down on land (ice) as well as water., but does it really need to be 600 tons?

This is not for search and rescue. It is to transport heavy equipment to the new Arctic island outposts throughout the year at any ice condition. Even equipment larger than can be transported by An-124.
