Sounds like six SU-33s rushed through this ground attack modernization, three single seat Mig-29Ks, and two dual seat Mig-29Ks.

A total of eleven combat aircraft.

Well...that is better than none.

But I am always clearly of aircraft having to be rushed through such an improvement for combat. Asking for mistakes, particularly when you ar wanting precision strike capabilities.

Navy Fighters-bombers :

Navy don' t have only Mig-29 and Su-33 embarked fighters but also Su-24/27/30 and Mig-31.

Baltic Fleet in Kaliningrad enclave have two Rgts one to Chkalovsk 27 Su-27/UB/SM3 and to Chernyakhovsk 20 Su-24M/MR

Black Sea Fleet have one Rgt to Gvardeyskoye/Crimea with 9 Su-24M/MR and 9 Su-30SM a new arrived after 24 SU-30SM

Northern Fleet have to Severomorsk 3 in two Rgts : 21 Su-33 ( plus 5 Su-25UTG ) and a part of at less 14 Mig-29K/UBK after 24.

Pacific Fleet have to Jelisovo/Petropavlovsk one Rgt in fact a Sqn of 12 Mig-31.

Total about 115
~ 80 Su-24/27/30 and Mig-31.
21 Su-33 and at less 14 Mig-29K/UBK

NB : All Tu-22M retired only AF have, can do anti-ships missions with AS-4.

I don' t think many problems with firing of its stages, the canister serve only for the lauching separation takes place a few hundred meters from the surface
Anyway whatever reason any oberserver tell you that this missile is not reliable with probably a design problem after i don' t need going in détails.
