Turkey is apparently mediating Russia's withdraw.

It's time Russia recognize that it's not a global power but simply a regional one like France, UK, India, etc and needs to live accordingly as such. They can't have sprawling bases around the world like the high times of the Soviet.

Assad's fall is a major L for Russia and all because they didn't have precision guided munitions or enough of them to give some to their forces in Syria.

First Armenia and then Syria. Russia's ability to defend their interest is evident because of how weak their air force is.
They could have had all US' and even China's PGM stockpile and how exactly would that change things?

Syria was a political settlement. Russia seriously bombed the rebels for all of a day, until they confirmed that the government did not intend to fight. From that point on, they bombed bridges etc to buy time for Syria to sort out the specifics of the power transfer.

The government army did not even send engineers to set charges, but let the Russians demolish from the air instead. When I saw that, I realized the countries around Syria and Syria itself had given up, because that's simply unprecedented conduct for a military at war. Which Syria's government army was not, because there was not one battle fought between SAA and SNA. Rather, the SAA ceded all it's manpower and equipment to the SNA.

Russia's inability to bomb moving convoys and targets is one of the main reason HTS progressed so quickly. 10 or so Orion drones would have made a big difference on the battlefield. All RuAF munitions in Syria are dumb bombs and unguided rockets from their helicopters. They could only bomb stationary targets.

SAA, already on low morale, saw this drawback from the Russians and quickly abandoned post. They risked getting overrun by these speeding convoys.

If Russia could back them up like how USAF backs up the Kurds in the North, this collapse won't have happen. SAA is also to blame for not willing to fight but having no credible air cover makes defending hellish.

In fact, they even missed stationary targets. The bridge in Hama, for example, the Russians attacked and missed the bridge. An absolute disaster.

There was some sort of political settlement between SAA and SNA even as the rebels first started to move. Russia went for the jugular with hits on Turkey origin columns and Idlib for just a single day, until they saw the intentions of the SAA.

SAA grunts do not know what targets Russia hits. They don't have shared ISR channels with Russia. The idea that SAA was originally going to fight to the last like the most fanatic wagnerite but somehow within a day managed to magially see 100s of miles behind the frontline over Idlib, decide on an en masses level that Russia doing less than what they want, and as such instantly decide to surrender, is extremely fanciful fanfiction at best. Also what about the politicians/officials that were ready to greet SNA with open arms? Did they also change their minds just from seeing Russia supposedly drop less bombs?

There's no way someone can be stupid enough to believe the Russia is running out of x daily mail sloppaganda right?

All the good stuff got sent to Ukraine. If Russian Forces in Ukraine with all their Glide bombs, Krasnopol and FPV drones are fighting in Ukraine with the same logistic support they receive now they would've wiped out the rebels.

In Russia, a robotic platform "Venom-Totem" was developed for evacuating the wounded, as well as delivering supplies and ammunition to the military. The robotic platform "Venom-Totem" was created in Novosibirsk by the ROBCOM company. Initially, the unmanned platform "Venom-Totem" was developed for evacuating victims from emergency zones, but recently it has also been used by the troops. It is planned to transfer 50 more units to the troops in the near future. The "Venom-Totem" platform has an electric drive and is controlled remotely, it is capable of carrying a load of up to 500 kg. The platform speed is up to 5 km / h, the operating range is up to 200 meters. In the future, it is planned to create platforms that will be able to automatically load the bodies of the dead and remove them.
