Conference "Journey into the World of Artificial Intelligence"​

The President took part in the 10th anniversary International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Journey 2025, which is taking place in Moscow from November 19 to 21.

We have unique solutions that can be used to power data centers. We plan to transition to mass production of small floating and land-based nuclear power plants, and will also continue to build data centers based on the largest nuclear power plants. We are also ready to offer these comprehensive solutions to our international partners.

Regarding long-term plans, we plan to build 38 nuclear power units in less than two decades, primarily in the Urals, Siberia, and the Far East. Their total capacity will be almost equal to the entire current nuclear power generation capacity. The growing potential of the domestic nuclear energy industry will allow us to consistently expand computing power for artificial intelligence.

This is what I'm asking you about, frankly, I'm asking everyone to think about this. Because the Ministry of Education alone won't solve this problem. It's true, this is a serious matter for future generations, for Russia, a very important one.

Saudi Arabia and Russia sign mutual visa exemption agreement​

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia and Russia on Monday signed a mutual visa exemption agreement for citizens of both countries, on the sidelines of the Saudi–Russian Investment and Business Forum in Riyadh.

The agreement was signed by Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in the presence of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy and head of the Saudi side in the Joint Saudi–Russian Committee.
The agreement covers all categories of passports — diplomatic, special and ordinary — and allows visa-free entry for visits, including tourism, business and visits to relatives and friends. It permits stays of up to 90 days, whether consecutively or on separate visits, within a single calendar year.
Russia is the first country with which Saudi Arabia has signed a mutual visa exemption agreement that includes holders of ordinary passports.

Russia has developed a way to produce more rare earth metals.​

The Solikamsk Magnesium Plant has developed new equipment that will increase the extraction of rare earth metals from ore by 3–5%.
The hydroseparator will allow for the recovery of more rare earth metals (REMs) from the fine fraction of loparite ore mined in the Arctic. Raw material recovery is expected to increase by 3–5%.
Previously, the fine fraction was disposed of as tailings, a waste product. Now, it becomes possible to increase the recovery rate of loparite from the ore. This will contribute to the goal of increasing the supply of loparite concentrate (the feedstock for rare earth metal production) to the SMZ. As far as we know, similar beneficiation equipment is not available in Russia or abroad. I am confident that industrial cooperation among the Mining Division's companies will develop and facilitate technological innovation.

Russia is now in tenth generation uranium enrichment technology and US still need several years.

Russia not only leader in rare earth resources but is leader in Aerospace titanium and Aluminum (Rusal). In titanium raw materials used to come from other countries and they process it but the best material is always for Russian aerospace. you can observe this in Russian fighters and attack choppers with heavy loads. fighter need more titanium than civil airline. Launch of pilot trading in Islamic finance on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange​

The St. Petersburg Exchange has initiated a pilot project for trading based on Islamic finance principles. The commodity being traded is diesel fuel, with the transaction value set at 10 million rubles.

Transaction mechanism: commodity murabaha​

The pilot project is based on a partnership financing transaction known as commodity murabaha. This method involves the sequential purchase and sale of commodities both on the organized market and on over-the-counter (OTC) platforms.

The project includes three consecutive transactions: two of them are carried out on the exchange in the oil products section, and one on the over-the-counter market.

Organization and compliance with Sharia standards​

These transactions are organized by an Islamic broker, and settlements are carried out through a clearing process. A fatwa was obtained for the pilot transactions, confirming their compliance with Shariah standards from the AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions).

Russia to launch platform for developing anthropomorphic robots​

Russian companies will develop anthropomorphic robots. JSC "Robot Corporation" (part of the Element Group) announced the launch of the "National Anthropomorphic Platform."

The platform's goal is to bridge the technological gap with global leaders and lay the foundation for Russia to "conquer a significant share" of the anthropomorphic robotics market, which is expected to exceed $5 trillion by 2050.

"Human-like robots are capable of integrating into existing environments without costly infrastructure adaptations, which is intended to radically improve productivity and safety in manufacturing, especially in environments hazardous to humans," the report states.

The platform is expected to involve collaboration between Sber's Robotics Center, Yandex Robotics, NPO Androidnaya Tekhnika, Skoltech, and MIPT.

As noted by the Robot Corporation, the US and China are already investing billions in the development of such technologies. In particular, China has the Made in China 2025 program and Robot + Education, which includes over 200 companies developing anthropomorphic robots.

Vedomosti reported on October 17 that companies, together with universities, would create the "New Technological Coalition"—an association for the development of anthropomorphic (humanoid) robots. The platform is expected to be developed entirely in Russia using domestic production facilities. Specifically, Promobot will be responsible for the industrial component and technology platforms, while Double U Expo will be responsible for human-machine interaction.
