Why did they blur it so much! you can't see sh*t. It wasn't taken by someone on an airplane overflying the ship, it was taken by a satellite. No one would have gotten into trouble with the Authorities if it was shared without being blurred like that.

Because if you want a clear satellite photo you have to pay for them, in US Dollar, may be few hundred or few thosands dollars depend on clarity of the photo. Free photo are always blur.

For amphibious operations on Hawaii the PLAN must destroy entire Pacific fleet, military infra on the west coast. Plus, occupy all those island in middle of the pacific - develop air, naval bases on those islands. For this they have to occupy Phillipines, Japan, Australia.
Let's not go that far...

When we think of Sea power it's normal to think of ships.
However...
because of advances in long range missiles (example DF-26B) enemy targets can now be hit 4,000km out at sea. You can "technically speaking" be standing 4,000km away from your enemy and still hit him. Furthermore on an island the same can be done 360 degrees all around.
because of this:
In Pacific War 2.0 having control of islands will be very important.....more so than in WW2.
The PLA rocket force will not be operating purely from the mainland. They will also operate on islands in the Pacific.
