Oh yes. I am jealous because it would be OUTSTANDING for the model building I do.

Don;t have a part...or need a new class...presto-chango, put in a 3D model of it and the material and you get it.

He is getting amazing detail down at that small 1/350 scale.

I have some work I do for my Church, helping others, and my modeling, and things I do with my kids and grandkids ...and coming here to SD too...that help keep my mind off of the condition I am in.

My condition is terminal. The tumors are growing, albeit they have slowed down a lot over what the drs thought. They expected I would be gone by now.

I tell them it is just because the good Lord has some things He wants me to get done here first...and then it will happen.

anyhow, the nature of the beast is that in order to control the pain as it worsens, I have to take more pretty strong meds. Opiod pain killers. The more you take, the more your body gets used to them and the more you have to take. Also, in order to control the pain.

Getting hooked on them is not a pleasant thing. It does not make you have a "high." You get terribly sick if you do not take them at the level you get used to...and terribly sick if you take too many. it's just the way it is.

But they can help folks like me with the pain.

I do not like getting zoned out, so I take as little as I can stand...and all of these we just talked about...my family, my church, the models, SD, etc., are things help me to concentrate on other things while that is going on.

Anyhow...that's the long and short of it, and the truth about my condition.

I am okay with it.

I have been able to help more people, and my own family in terms of their faith and feeling about God in Heaven as a result of this condition...and if that was all there was, it would be well worth it to me.

Finally...I am okay with it.

I have had a good life and am not afraid of what comes next. I know where I am going and who will be there...and when the time comes, it will be joyous up there...and ultimately, those I know and love will be there too.

Anyhow, thanks for that comment because it is the absolute truth.

So what you are saying is it is possible for the tumours to stop growing and reverse. Eat right and exercise maybe tumour gone in a year.

My following 1/350 scale 3D airraft shipped today:

12 x Boeing FA-XX
16 x Grumman FA-XX
06 x MQ-23 String Ray aircraft

I will add to that the following aircraft I already have:

12 x F-35C Lightning II aircraft
04 x E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft
04 CMV-22B COD aircraft

A total of 54 aircraft for my modern airwing.

I will buy the carrier within the next two weeks, and the various photo etch railing packages I will need, as well as the decals.

I should start the project in about two weeks. when I get the aircraft in, I will paint a few of the 6th gen and some of the F-35s to set up for folks to see what we will be talking about.

Another USS Enterprise is about to be built.

When I finish her, I will have all three USS Enterprise aircraft carriers in 1.350 scale:

Laid down: 16 July 1934
Launched: 3 October 1936
Commissioned: 12 May 1938
Decommissioned: 17 February 1947





USS Enterprise CVN-65:

Laid down: 4 February 1958
Launched: 24 September 1960

USS Enterprise CVN-80:

To be Laid down: 2018-2019

Dear FORBIN, I like your posts very much and I respect you as a long-time member of the SDF and a PLA expert.

I readily admit that I don't know weapons. I am interested in weapons but don't know a lot about them. My main purpose here is to learn from experts like you, Deino, AF Brat, Jeff, PLA Wolf, Engineer, among others. I believe most majority of visitors to our forum is here to learn. Let's face it, experts are not easy to come by. Then it is up to you guys, the experts and teachers, to explain things in a clear and understandable fashion so that we can learn.

These weapon systems are complicated stuff to begin with. As I have mentioned before, much of what you guys talk about are way over my head. I have a hard time understanding much of what the experts discuss even when the discussion is in perfect English. It becomes extra hard with your posts because of your English.

I enjoy posts by Jeff, PLA Wolf, Deino, and AF Brat the most because they explain things in a way that a lay person like me can understand. I can tell that most of your posts pack a lot of good information that I would like to learn and understand. However, I can't since it is so difficult to make sense of your posts.

I know that the hardest part of any conversation is between an expert and a lay person. It requires a lot of extra effort on the part of the expert to convey their ideas clear enough for the lay person to understand. I know that from first hand experience. When I write NIH grant applications, the most difficult part is the Lay Statement. Although it is only one paragraph, I spend more time on it because I need to think harder to come up with ways to explain things to a lay person.

I do believe it is the responsibility of the experts to explain things clearly to the lay people. When people have wrong ideas about certain medical myth, I blame myself and my fellow colleagues because we should do a better job explaining things to the general public. Why? Because we are the experts. We are the ones who actually know stuff. Similar with you. I believe that you, as an expert, bare the responsibility to convey your knowledge clearly to the lay people.

Dear vesicles, i am no an expert which found " out " infos with others etc... i search alone to 100 % i am very very passionated but not a true expert, since very long time very young i have my 1st military mag interested by all armies, weapons less small arms prefer big guns and logicaly milit history especialy modern wars WWI particularly WWII especialy easter front i have a lot of things and also logicaly i am a big wargamer, boardgames since also very long time as it

I have especially for China but i like and post for all armies yes enough very good infos coz i have time for search, big passion and a amazing member polyglot speaking especialy very good french also russian have sned me all her files i have before ofc but it was excellent infos all the bases etc... amazing Franco-Russe he left 3 years ago sudenly... damage !!! a Danish one of the best expert for China military sponsored for to be member on CDF ( and now by ex i udapte Chinese Navy OOB etc... ) and her speciality as me mainly ORBATS, TOE, units etc... i love it since always technical things also ofc but is my matter undoubtely I found myself with a gold mine and i have created KMZ files with the main bases also for all the main Armies, i can look very fast with it and it is in more nice with little symbols by ex fighter types for base hostings it etc ... used with GE i have yet posted an example here
Franco-Russe was able with a little lexicon to understand about... Chinese surely her main point especialy for matters less know as ORBATS, TOE, units etc... rarely mentioned and extremely rare difficult to find, a master for it !

Also a lot of books, now links i note all on my excel files especialy for China difficult !

To find again more with China you need 3 things time of i have, passion big and what I would call the hunt for news in relation with passion and luck of course.

I am actually in France right now (visiting Carcassonne), I can't understand a lot of stuff people say even when they say it slowly....

Now, they are just there to give folks a "feel". They will all be sitting on my new CVN-80, USS Enterprise. I will be ordering another 1/350 scale USS Nimitz and then rebuilding it over into a Ford Class...in this case the 3rd one planned, the USS Enterprise, CVN-80, which they have already cut first steel for.
