In the USN case it was not neglect but a deliberate dumbing down of the USN by BHO cronies. Both Civilians and USN.... Re-fits delayed, money differed, political correct officers in charge when they should have been behind a desk or retired. Civilians not held accountable for deliberate delays on purchasing, construction, yard work etc..etc...
The sailor at sea ..the rules of engagement might as well been handcuffs....witness our sailors captured by Iranians last January.

Exactly right, and what I rather callously and erroneously have referred to as the "Chickification" of the USAF is just exactly as you have stated. Secretary James actually did a very credible job, and I for one am proud of her for stepping up, and our new little chick, Lisa Disbrow will do a good job as well. I'm not against the many fine female airman, sailors, marines, soldiers in the US military. I'm against the PC krap,,,,,sailors and aviators have always referred to their vessels/aircraft in the feminine, and rightly so in order that they might make their vessel/aircraft a kind and loving figure who will love you and protect you?? or conversely a "cold hearted beotch" who would cut your heart out in a heart-beat?
To eliminate the often very sexy nose art and prosecute that as some type of abuse is asinine, I'm sure any female aviator would be happy to fly the "Memphis Belle" or even
"Sexy Sue"!
President Trump may legitimize our maleness once again, it was not always regarded as "cancer" to be attracted to beautiful women, any more than women think if "nasty" to be attracted to a handsome man!
I do not approve of same sex krap, or folks who aren't in tune with their own bodies the way "mother nature intended". The military is NO PLACE to run social experiments, people who are unable to perform their duties with-out disrupting military decorum!
