Ayi: Algeria has bought J-10CE

View attachment 176639

Another comment from Ayi:

Buying Chinese aircraft is perfectly normal, but this was already a second-best choice for the Algerians. Algeria had much greater ambitions: it even wanted to buy the finest Flanker humanity has to offer, or perhaps even an advanced black aircraft, but AVIC unexpectedly refused to allow it after the request was submitted.

(unexpectedly = sarcasm)

There is a vaguepost from an Algerian source (allegedly credible??) with the above KJ-500 and J-10C image.

Sorry to ask, but I want to prevent any misunderstandings: So Ayi de facto confirms that Algeria bought J-10CE or was he more giving a moment (regarding Sino-Flankers and J-20) after someone else posted about an alleged Algerian deal?

He confirmed the J-10CE sale to Algeria, and he made the comment about Algeria wanting J-16 and J-20 afterwards

So Algeria overtook Indonesia to become the first non traditional customer for Chinese fighters? (Providing Indonesia is still planned in the first place)

And what interests me most - probably many others too - when do we see the first confirmed export to a Country after Pakistan, what about Uzbekistan, the rumours about Sudan and Tanzania and above all, why do we still have no real confirmation of the alleged production at GAIC?

After sale service and MRO is big problems, Uzbekistan trying resolve this problems and cooperation with Pakistan. I think for chinese military products manufacturers and certificated service dealers need open special platform like Alibaba or something like it

More news emerging suggest Algeria is buying J10CE fighters, echoing the news I posted earlier:

But what in terms of credibility should a report on otherwise not famous site add when the more likely explanation is, the reporter just saw this claim / rumour on twitter and made a story from it?!

idk what harm there is in making it policy to only report on purchases after they've been made and delivered on
