Here is an objective video with regards to China's social credit system. If you are expecting an all knowing, all seeing social credit system that will deduct points from a score because you walked a red light, like in the Netflix TV series Black Mirror, you are going to be bitterly disappointed. So far China's social credit system looks only to be like the credit score system in the US, and deals with mundane things like failing to return a rental bicycle or umbrella, or failing to pay your debts in time, or failing to pay the wages of your workers. The one difference is that the credit may affect how you can purchase a ticket on a train or plane.
