No doubt the pendulum will eventually swing back to rationalism, slowly, over generations simply left to its own devices.
Otherwise it requires a major shock to the system to break the stranglehold of a particular regime.
Maybe Afghanistan is the warning shot that such a shock is coming?
We had similar shocks last century that brought down the certainties and self belief of the Victorian age.
Sadly we remember them as WW1 and WW2!

Oddly for once Tucker Carlson is right with regards to China banning large investors from speculating on Chinese real estate. The high prices of US homes have a catastrophic effect on the rise of homelessness in the US. This doesn't changed that Tucker Carlson is so wrong on many things and is a big racist.
