I have not seen his review, but I have seen the brief specs of the Hongqi. It was less powerful than its Western equivalent. I guess probably less comfortable as well. But it is cheaper and most importantly, it is a Hongqi.
This guy is pretty objective, I've followed his channel for over a year now. He judged the Hongqi correctly since its designed to compete against BMW/Merc. He actually good things to say about chinese cars in the $20-30K range. He also talks about design consideration differences between West and China, like how in China people care more about interior material feel but in the west they care about driver dynamics.
He is very much a fan of Chinese EVs though, especially vis a vis tesla.
