there is only one wuhan class (33G), a special test ship modified from a romeo. its not combat capable and is classifed as an auxilary. i think the ship was made/modified in the late 80s/and early nieties.

Ok. I'm just wondering, so are the remeos the first submarines to serve in the PLAN? If not what was the first submarine that served in PLAN prior to Remeo class?:china:

THe first chinese sub was the russian M-class costal submarine they were named "new china 11" and "new china 12" later on they built the soviet Whiskey class its only after that they moved on to the Remeo.:china:
