Has there been any proof of Z-20F entering service. Seems to me like helicopter based ASW is the biggest missing chain in Chinese military given how powerful US subs are.
Yes, Z-20F is in service, given it has been seen with PLANAF insignia, just not widespread service yet with surface combatants like DDGs/FFGs.

Wow thats incredible love you Deino! Hoping they increase in proliferation as fast as possible. One thing I am curious is if China is developing other ASW helis for ships with smaller hangar space or a bigger heli for ones with more space like aircraft carriers and amphibious ships. I think bigger sensors, weapons, more sonobuoys etc would come in handy imo or are they gonna just replace ships with small hangars ASAP?
