Yes, we can safely assume the ship got launched, considering the drydock where she was located is flooded and the particular space in it now vacant.

Most if not all superstructure has already been installed on the new replenishment ship, this could possibly mean launch is possibly within the year.

I wonder if there is a sweet spot at which it is better to use nuclear than traditional for this type of vessel.

Nah bruh, there's always a bigger boat.

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we see an even larger one couple years down the line. PLAN carriers are bound to sail further and I can't imagine the overseas supply base situation become that much better for 'em. Larger AOE it is.
