Here's some pics from the Year of Russia celebration where Russian stunt pilots were suppose to fly through a rock archway in China but ended up not doing it. Russian TVCs on their Sukhois to compare with.

Actually swimmerX had already pointed out that FC-3 was a CG. What i asked Crobato is if the engine and nozzles in JZM pictures are Russian or Chinese??

The nozzles were chinese. And yes, you can see they don't look the same as the ones on the TVC AL-31FN. The Chinese AVEN designs look a lot more like the US AVEN designs for the F-16 Vista (TVC is offered as an option for Block 60 F-16s) and for the JSF.

Let's see, Y-8MPA (the one with that little radome underneath the nose)
Y-8J (the one with the big nose)
Y-8 balance beam AWACS
Y-8 mushroom AWACS (strictly for export) - is this mechanically steered or AESA? I originally thought mechanical, but it didn't make sense to me for China to try to export PAF this if it's not AESA.
Y-8 battlefield surveillence (the one with the two row of "bumps")
Y-8 ELINT (looks like MPA except with another little white blob before the vertical tailfin)
Y-8 ECM (the one with an array of ECM antennas near the end)
Y-8 command center (looks like balance beam one, except no balance beam)
