Yeah folks seem to forget china can erase about 400 cities and we do not have enough interceptors . Idk about you but my body just does not mesh with temperatures higher then the sun and gamma ray radiation .

However, it also presents a major weakness that should China and Russia and another power manage to hit the US homeland with the kind of loses that the Ukrainians are going through now and then repeat the process for more then a few months, it is extremely doubtful that the USA could honestly pull off a resistance like in that video game ‘Homefront’ or the movie ‘red dawn’ given how apathetic the majority have become based on all the tent cities propping up all over the place.
Even though the USA loves to present itself as a force that can pull off a Hollywood counterattack, with the reality that they are having trouble recruiting people for the army due to the general apathy of the nation and the USA no longer possessing the manufacturing base in producing the weapons amount needed to fight China and Russia at the same time (as the Ukrainian war shows from all the shortage but in ammo and logistics of the weapons itself going missing), I believe that the same powerful media that has helped brainwashed the west is a double edge sword, it has made many people turn on China in the west but it has also ensured that the people in the USA are gravely unprepared for the prospects that the USA is actually quite vulnerable from hypersonic weapons and other weapons that aren’t being revealed to the west along with the fact that Russia and China are actually enough to turn much of the global south against the west as seen this year alone (and the media in the west does everything possible to hide this fact).
For other evidence of this weaknesses, what does the USA have other then the patriot system and the THAAD which while they are good at the time, are no longer quite that reliable as shown when the Yemen drones are able to sneak past and damage Saudi pipelines despite the presence of the patriot system in the area that was supposed to stop this from happening. Even the Israeli ‘Iron dome’ system while being able to stop rockets from insurgents in a manner that is more reliable and even that has yet to be shown to do the same against Russian hypersonic missiles and this system is shown to be extremely resource intensive it is requires that USA to constantly fund them with weapons and resources to keep the system afloat which is sure to disappear should the US economy collapse in the near future.
Heck, Biden even saw fit to remove the patriot system from Saudi Arabia just last year (probably to hide the fact that it isn’t completely reliable) and he wonders why MBS has turned on him. I find it quite ridiculous that even now in Australia, no matter who I have spoken to, that almost no one ever seems to entertain that idea that Chinas arsenal can quite frankly take Australia down in one day and how Scomo has almost pushed Australia on a collision course where China could ultimately do something to Australia like I don’t know blow Pine Gap to pieces with one missile in 30min after he stupidly declares support for Taiwan’s independence after the U.S commands him to do so. Whether Albo can avert this is yet to be seen, but recently in a discussion with another Chinese friend over dinner, we believe that Australian military might is so weak, even Indonesia can honestly take down Australia in a straight up fight and if China gets involved (after the USA is taken out of the picture of course), the nation would face the same fate as the Aboriginals, only that China would keep those who can live with them while getting rid of those that oppose them and by that point, human rights isn’t going to save any of them because let’s face it, the global south doesn’t like Anglos and once the EU is trashed from the energy shortages, they would gladly sell out anyone to save their own skin. AUKUS relies on the prospect of being able to arm Australia in a decades time to counter China, but really, the west only have two to three years at most and Australia basically is in a state that if China does in fact dominate the pacific, if the USA is weakened enough, don’t be surprised if Australia sells out the USA to save itself, which is kinda like what NZ is doing recently

That’s the main problem with modern western propaganda - is far more effective at fooling the kinds of virtue signalling obsessed smooth-brains that tend to get elected and appointed into high office in the west than the ‘enemy’. So the west ends up drinking their own Kool Aid and making fundamentally vital decisions based on absolute bullshit.
The thing is, every side on the global geopolitical stage is doing propaganda, whether that be aimed at their own country's populace, or targetted populace of certain country(ies), or across the rest of the world, or any combination of those. US, Russia, China, India, Japan, UK, Qatar, France, Germany, Iran - everyone is doing that to various degrees. There is no denying about it.
However, the distinction stems from whether the ones who manufacture and spreads propaganda actually believes in the propaganda that they themselves are spreading across their own populace and across the world, or not - especially propaganda that are 1. glorifying and lifting themselves while degrading and slandering others; and 2. made of lies, deceit, fakes, untrue and/or twisted facts.
N4z1 Germany is the best ever historical example for that. Now, we see that history rhymes across the Western world.
I just find it bewildering how a turn based, hex based table top game (apparently used both by CSIS and CNAS here) can even hope to achieve a precise enough simulation. Especially at the scale they're both using, where apparently the entire Taiwan strait is just one hex wide. One would really have thought they'd be using AT LEAST a custom modded professional edition of CMANO or similar digital platforms for their wargaming.
