Man that SMG looks cool as hell. Wish I could have it in case of another military coup in Thailand. Ya know, just for self defense.
The other day I found out something like a dozen QBU-88 were imported into Canada about 10 years ago. The importer said it was difficult to sell a Chinese rifle for 3000 CAD which put it in the same price bracket as European models. It took about 6 months to clear their inventory.

Honestly a lot pricier than I expected. I was expecting around $800 USD but it's probably quantity causing a higher price.
