Could be but I couldn't tell. I just saw the 8.6 on the image and thought it was an 8.6 sniper. Though the name of that rifle still remains a mystery.Due to the image being a bit unclear, it is hard to tell. I did a quick search and everyone is claiming that the rifle in the picture is a 8.6mm sniper rifle. So it most likely is an 8.6mm rifle. However, I also cant find its name. This sniper rifle is a product designed and produced by an arsenal in Hunan, China. Without a specific name, it can only be regarded as an experimental product.I did some more digging through the archives and found that the second sniper is the QBU 202 but I still don't know the first snipers name. They are both 8.6 mm.
For comparison, here is the first sniper:

I did a quick search and everyone is claiming that the rifle in the picture is a 8.6mm sniper rifle. So it most likely is an 8.6mm rifle. However, I also cant find its name. I think this rifle may be one of the following options:
1. It is still in its testing stage
2. It was a competitor to the current 202 but lost.
3. It was an early version of the 202 considering the fact that the picture is almost 4 years old.
Note: Options 2 and 3 are based on the fact that the 202 is also an 8.6mm sniper rifle.
Personally, I think option 3 is the most probable one. The 202 looks like a much more refined and slimmer version of the rifle in the older picture with the unknown rifle.
Then that leaves options 2 and 1. In that case, do you think it is possible that this rifle is still in development? There are no names for this rifle based on a quick search I have done. It certainly isn’t the QBU 202 or 201.This sniper rifle is not an early model of QBU202, it was designed and produced by Hunan Weapons in China.QBU202 is produced in Chongqing.
This rifle in addition to this picture there is no any news, according to personal speculation may have stopped the development, because it can't get orders of the Chinese people's liberation army (PLA), China's Arsenal is the main source of income of the Chinese people's liberation army (PLA) orderThen that leaves options 2 and 1. That image you posted was a few years old , by then , the 8.6MM cartridge was still under test, and that gun was just a rigged up prototype, rumor said some parts were bought online and the overall finish was like shit. Are you sure about the first image? The QBU 202 haves a completely different handguard and receiver. They don't look anything alike. Also, I don't think the second sniper is 7.62.

Pretty sure that this "mystery" sniper is the OG 8.6mm High-Percision Sniper Rifle from Zhuhai 2018. Yes that's literally its name.I did some more digging through the archives and found that the second sniper is the QBU 202 but I still don't know the first snipers name. They are both 8.6 mm.
