Well at first glance you would imagine that a heavier, belt fed weapon like an FN Minimi would be more controllable, but as with all belt fed weapons, they are mostly front heavy, with a heavy barrel extending forward and a very heavy box of ammunition infront of the the shooter’s primary hand.Firing a SAW using just one hand...
The bullpup configuration places some of the forward weight of the barrel on top of the pistol grip, with the weight of the magazine to the rear and weight of the heavy barrel to the front balancing eachother out. So it is suprisingly easy to fire like that with the centre of balance on or near the middle of the weapon and handy unlike most SAWs which need to be fired from bipod for any real efficacy, whereas the QBB 95-1 can genuinely be used as a SAW and Rifle from the shoulder effectively for an indefinite period of time.
Even a AR style weapon with a 50 round or 100 round beta c drum will soon become unsustainable to fire from the shoulder in terms of fatigue being only a little more front heavy than the standard rifle.
