Something I been meaning to ask. But so far I have only seen one person repelling from helicopter at given time in all Chinese photos or videos. Whereas it is pretty standard practice to have 3 or 4 at once pretty much everywhere else in the world. Popeye know anything?

I know that US Forces repel from helos in multiple fashion as you have stated. So do other armed forces throughout the World. I too have not seen the PLA repel more than one soldier at a time. Perhaps we just missed it.

From that photo alone, it looks to be a PLA rappelling from helicopter school or in the US Army terminology would be Air Assault School.
