A hundred military officers from armed police, air force and land force joined a group blind- date meeting with 100 local young females in Foshan, Guangdong province on July, 26.

Many officers said they cherished this chance a lot because they don’t have many chance to get acquainted with females in the army.The meeting has attracted 100 local women to participate. There was a push-up contest during the event. Refreshments were also served.

The meeting was organized by local civil service bureau, women’s federation and Shuangyong Office ( Office that supports civil-military relations), in a bid to help young army officers and local women to find their other half, said Liao Sha, deputy director of local civil service bureau.
