Pretty accurate analysis, Pairing MBTs with FSVs operating drones could be very effective in the battlefield but that depends on how well the GL6 APS can detect and Destroy FPV drones and How well the RWS can help in taking them down.

In the video he takes the claim of APS systems being able to destroy FPV drones at face value - but I haven't yet seen a APS system take out a FPV.
My doubts about that claim lie in the Radars being able to detect the FPVs - Fast Moving Objects are very easy to detect with APS but if a drone is slow then detection becomes a challenge because the Drone might just blend in with the surrounding Environments radar signature

Yeah I think he is mostly on point as well.

As to FPV detection, I believe it will more rely on opto-electronics rather than radar as you've reasoned the difficulty with radar. AI enabled optical camera with good night vision should be able to discern a drone object from say a 100m away, giving RWS + APS enough reaction time to deal with it.

I think he misses that part where from the Ukraine war, the Russians are now fielding groups of threes as their new infantry doctrine which I won't discuss further. When I saw the new support vehicle only has three people enter, that's what immediately came to my mind. This isn't an APC, but the return to the original concept of an IFV, which is to deal with infantry in support of tanks. That's the original concept behind the Soviet BMP.

Keeping tanks and support vehicles light and medium instead of heavy, makes them easier to move through muddy terrain, such as in Asian rice fields.

I like the idea that the two vehicles are a conceptual overhaul and back to the roots of being a tank and an IFV.

Here is a drone detection AESA radar available on Taobao. Only 450k RMB

Fatty said the 105mm gun is the same 105 rifled gun from Type-15 with minor improvements.

Type-100 series's main requirements is air transport capability, hence the tight weight requirements.

He believes there is another yet undisclosed vehicle in the Type-100 family to provide strong enough fire power to compensate for the relatively weak 105mm gun of ZTZ-100 and limited atgm magazine of ZBD-100

It's annoying problem (especially with ambush fiber drones), but it isn't completely unsolvable; rotor blades doppler shift should be detectable in ku-ka, bright heated batteries are distinctive in IR, and visual can be outright trained on drone recognition.

Also, majority of drones are still relatively simple targets, attacking from clear sky.
