Can we call this tank the most advanced in the world? Based on the all the new tech?
Outside of the T-14 Armata, how many new build tanks have been introduced? Most Western tanks still seems to be based on derivatives of existing models. There have been concepts like the AbramsX, but those are just concepts at this point.

I don't really see it having much competition.

The K2 Black Panther and Type 10 were introduced over the past decade. But they still reflect 1990s thinking. Much like the Leclerc they use 120mm guns and autoloaders.

The Type 10 has a couple nice things though. It has that CVT. So the reverse speed is same as forward speed. Plus the usual niceties like advanced suspension.

I think it really represents what a lot of other nations will be doing with their next-generation of main battle tanks in terms of sensor fusion and automation. Like you pointed out, the K2 and Type 10 are basically legacy tanks in terms of design.

I doubt western countries will have the money to spend on a new tank. China is advancing so fast on other areas like missiles or air power, that western countries will struggle to catch up to even those technologies. They will likely prioritize air/sea power over ground force. I expect current tanks to stay for many decades. In fact, they might even get rid of most tanks just to save money for other things.
