I'm not sure, but the first one to be replaced is definitely the Type 15
Type 15 is still in production, they even recently did a tour of that factory. Type 15 is irreplaceable unless this tank also comes with the oxygen generators and special equipement for high altitude combat. I don't see why because such generator and other equipment adds alot of weight and is basically dead weight on any mission that doesn't involve high altitude.

I think these systems use Peltier modules, which is not advanced you can by them in bulk off Alibaba. This kind of technology is pretty simple but it dressed up to look like some kind of real world cloaking device. Problem is it's vulnerable to damage, it's very heavy and produces alot of waste heat.

Probably discrete heating elements in image array, don't know how practical it is in practical terms. They're also showing us the effect in favorable direction, shown in any other angle it would immediately appear two dimensional, not going to fool anyone I don't think
